While it is good to reflect on the past year to learn and to set exciting goals for the new year, we must be careful not to slip into a pattern of rumination, getting stuck in a cycle of negative thinking and over analyzing the past that we cannot change, which can negatively impact wellbeing and contribute to anxiety and depressed mood. This week’s Wellbeing Wednesday discusses strategies to shift to positive self-reflection and positive thinking.
